New Project ! Pure Metal Roofing have been selected as the specialist contractor to supply & install the roof & wall coverings as part of the major redevelopment of a train station in Liverpool ! We will be supplying @metalsolutions Traditional Textures Anthracite standing seam panels along with the @kingspan_group KS1000RW composite panels ! Works are due to start in October and we can’t wait to get started on this very interesting project ! This is part of a wider scheme to upgrade several of Merseyside’s train stations and we are all proud to be able to be involved in such a project ! Project Complete ! This week our #PMR skilled craftsmen returned to our Preston new build home site ! Following the installation of the glazing we were able to put the finishing touches to the @greencoat.steel roofing & cladding works ! This scheme is already looking great in the sunshine but we are looking forward to the scaffold coming down later this week ! Flashback Friday ! Looking back at one of our first larger scale projects from 2022 ! #PMR were contracted to supply, fabricate & install @vmzincuk Pigmeto Red roofing & cladding to the main entrance feature at the new Premier Inn hotel located in Keswick, Cumbria ! We also clad 28 individual dormers fully in the zinc material with some unique detailing along the way ! The fully non-combustible cladding substrate was installed by others prior to our works although we provided some guidance in relation to the design requirements for our specialist coverings ! There were some tricky detail junctions with other materials along the way meaning we had to utilise this unique, robust, flexible material to accommodate ! Having worked closely with the builder & clients over the previous few months, we have been able to help with the detailed design & overall vision for the project, ensuring everything was how the client wanted whilst maintaining the highest industry standards & requirements ! Project complete ! (Almost) Some great shots came through this week of our @prefaeurope project in North Wales and it’s looking great ! On this project @pure_metal_roofing_ltd have supplied & installed #Prefa Prefalz aluminium in their Anthracite finish ! (Ral 7016) The works consisted of roof & wall coverings along with parapet copings and rainwater goods ! Project Review ! Something a little different from @pure_metal_roofing_ltd ! Looking back at a very nice project indeed ! On this one, the extremely skilled #PMR team were tasked with supplying, fabricating & installing @vmzincuk to a variety of existing historical buildings at the Bramley Moore Dock Development in Liverpool ! We proposed #vmzinc in its natural finish due not only to its aesthetically pleasing & ever changing finish but due to the product’s extreme robustness in such an environment ! The site team also installed the complex timber support structure for each of the buildings and upon completion of the zinc standing seam panels we installed our bespoke made zinc finial as the crowning glory on what will be a landmark scheme for generations to come ! We are very proud of this one and looking forward to seeing the rest of the development progress as we get ready to return for Phase 2 ! Project Complete ! Last week we finished our re-roofing works to our restoration project in Fleetwood ! The existing lead roof covering had begun to fail and as part of this full building refurbishment #PMR replaced the lead with a new fully insulated / ventilated timber roof substrate & @roofinox_international Terne Coated Stainless Steel coverings with traditional timber batten roll joints ! Bespoke site made gutters where also installed along with several #stainlesssteel canopy coverings to the main high street. This wasn’t the most straightforward project but the skilled craftsmen @pure_metal_roofing_ltd made it work ! The Roofinox coils where supplied by @metalsolutions ! We are please to have secured the order to supply & install the @elzinc Rainbow Brown standing seam roofing package at this large scale new build property ! This is a scheme on which we have been working closely with the client and project team for over 12 months offering design assistance & commercial advice to aid in the correct project plan based on planning requirements & controlled budgets ! We explored 5 different material options on this one before the client made their final decision, now everyone is looking forward to getting started on site later this year ! Project Update ! This week at our Skipton site we completed the @prefaeurope roofing works to the garage building with the cladding to be installed next week ! The #Prefa P10 Brown aluminium coils where supplied by @associated.lead.mills along with various accessory products ! On the garage we also installed a ventilated timber substrate to support the roof coverings ! The main house is also approaching completion with cladding works, feature soffits & rainwater goods to follow ! The main house roof was consturcted by #PMR using @kingspan_group QuadCore composite panels secured & sealed back to the primary steelwork structure with membrane lined composite gutters ! The #kingspan panels where procured through @sigzincandcopper ! This near 1000m2 project has been great to be involved in at all stages and will certainly be one we can look back on with pride once complete ! Project complete ! On Friday we finished up at our Birmingham project and the results are amazing ! Our skilled craftsmen installed almost 500 specially fabricated @rheinzink_international shingles of various lengths, widths & configurations ! The majority of the shingles where fabricated off-site by @fabrications101 with the 0.8mm thick #Rheinzink Graphite Grey coils being supplied via @metra_metals ! Our works consisted of 3 areas of feature cladding on a much larger scheme but certainly stand out and display the outstanding finishes that can be achieved using traditional metals such as #zinc ! Project Update ! We have now started the installation of the @rheinzink_international Graphite Grey shingles at our project in Birmingham ! The works involve several feature clad elevations with matching parapet coping flashings, the random joint set out has been carefully planned and fabricated to create what should be a striking finish to this large scale scheme ! In total we have nine different panel configurations, all made using 0.8mm thick Rheinzink ! #PMR procured the zinc coils & sundries via one of our key supply partners @metra_metals ! New Project ! Big news for #PMR today as we have been awarded our biggest contract to date ! On this luxury new build home in Yorkshire, @pure_metal_roofing_ltd will be supplying & installing almost 1,000 m2 of @prefaeurope prefalz aluminium ! Roof & wall coverings will be traditional standing seam with the full support structure build up by us ! To the roofing areas we will be installing #kingspan #QuadCore composite panels beneath the aluminium which will be secured back to the primary steel structure, whilst a fully ventilated timber substrate will be used for the cladding areas ! Works are due to begin in February 2023 and we are already looking forward to it ! Project complete ! This week one of our skilled site teams completed the @rheinzink_international Graphite Grey dormer roofing & cladding ! On this small project which is part of our larger social housing scheme, we removed faulty coverings (installed by unknown) before replacing the timber substrate and installing a new vapour control layer which was worryingly missing when the works where originally installed over a decade ago ! Our site team at our Wirral project spent the weekend fabricating & installing the @greencoat.steel roofing sheets to our warm roof construction ! The team have already installed the vapour control barrier membrane to the roof deck along with @kingspaninsulationuk ready for the standing seam panels to begin being installed on week 2 ! Another day another order ! #PMR have secured the contract to undertake the removal & replacement of #rheinzink prePatina Blue Grey roofing & cladding to dormers across multiple properties in the North West !
